Hi there! I'm Dominic Anaya, the author behind the Making of a Warlock series.

I was born and raised in Arizona, and now I live in Texas.

I became a flight attendant in 2013 and got to travel to some great, exotic destinations, like London, Madrid, and Omaha. But if you ask me what is my favorite place to layover, I can't give you just one answer. But I didn't start writing until 2020.

From April 2020 to February 2021, I was grounded.

Literally.

During that time, I started jotting down these ideas that were swirling around in my head.

I mean, I didn't leave my apartment much due to the many restrictions.

I have never put much time or thought into it, but I remembered there was a time when I enjoyed writing. But I always put it on the back burner because I had poor time management when I was younger.

So, with all this time, I started writing. I've always enjoyed fantasy and science fiction because you can stretch your imagination to so many limits. Creating new worlds, larger-than-life characters, and just throwing physics out the airlock because I never went to college to understand it.

As I started writing, I did what all best authors do: write what you know.

And being able to travel around the world taught me a great deal.

Before I became a flight attendant, I never stepped outside of the United States. When the airlines opened up their hiring process, I finally obtained my passport and was hired on the spot.

And the places it has taken me.

As I bring my Warlock Series to life, I take from what I've learned and what I've experienced from traveling this big blue marble we live on.
